Life below 7290

Had a nice QSO on 7280 with a first time am'er! It was at 11:30- pm eastern. I called out a CQ and a ham came back who had never operated AM before. He was running an Icom 706 MKII. It was an interesting QSO. He had many questions about AM operation. So there you have it....There is life below 7290!
